When looking for something, we always seem to find other things that we couldn't find in the past and never find what we were looking for to begin with.
Well, I can't remember what I was looking for but I found "Gumby & Pokey", cartoon caricature of the 1950s. I bought these figures at a yard sale years ago. Always have props, you'll use them more than you think!

Echos from a era in our history long long ago, when life was simple, clean, honorable and safe.
Nice to go back there once in a while.
Thanks for the brief journey!

I remember them vividly, I still have a vhs tape or DVD around the house for my kids. I also remember Eddie Murphy's version of Gumby on Saturday Night Live.

I see you use the name "Grillmaster", do you LOVE to cook, I do. If the dinners I make look good on the dish, I'll make pictures for others to see.
The Gumby & Pokey cartoons I saw years ago on TV were in b&w. Now you have them available to show your chrildren. THANK YOU, Grillmaster 5062! AP
Yes, I do love to cook. Now that I finally work a normal day shift instead of afternoons, I do almost all of the cooking. It's a great way to relax.

I'm so glad to hear your joy of cooking. If you have a chance, click on my name AP then click on topics created and you'll find some of my FOOD-PHOTOS and other photos. Many are from film, not digital.
I am added a food photo of a past dinner. You can be creative with your cooking. This dish is simple as can be, Bean Sprouts, Pea-Pods, Tomatoes, 5-Cloves rough cut Garlic. Brown sauce is: Hoisin Sauce, Soy Sauce, Worcestershire Sauce.
Then you can make some nice photos of your dinner. HOW'S THAT . . . AP
