Spiral photo books.
Do any of the companies who make photo books, i.e. Blurb , adorama or Any other good one have a spiral bound option? Apple used to but no more. Thanks.

A quick check on Amazon turned one up. You may also want to check Walmart, Kmart.
You might want to look for proof books from the various companies.
NCTricolor.com does spiral photo books
Walmart in Canada has them, go on line to Walmart.com and look
If you do your own printing you could make your own spiral bound book and save some money. You would need to use photo paper made for printing on both sides. You would also need to get a paper punching machine that would punch holes in the paper and the cover. GBC makes these. You would then need either plastic or metal binding combs to put the book together. To protect the cover you could get a laminating machine to laminate the front and back cover before you punch the holes. All of these are available at Office Depot/Office Max and probably other office supply stores.
Several years ago, I used these items to make a book about a trip my husband and I had to China and Tibet and gave it as Christmas gifts to relatives. I also made my own calendar with pictures from our trip using the comb binder.
Give it a try. There will be an minor initial investment, but once you have the punching and lamination machines you will only need to replace the spirals when necessary. I think you will be pleased with the results and it will be something that you can say you made.
Have fun!

I think Adorama offer spiral books as well.
Purchase the book you desire, then take it to Staples and they will spiral bind any book. Usually $4-6 bucks, depending on size. All of my books/manuals are spiral bound so the lay flat.

That's a good idea. Do you lose much of the picture?

It depends on the binding. Almost all of my books have lost no content after being spiral bound. I like that feature, especially with manuals or how to books as I can lay them flat and have camera in hand while studying the particular page I'm on without it folding up on me.
