Legend Sales / M-X-C Tech. Any experience with these?

I'm looking to buy a Canon SX50hs and so far I'm not having much luck finding one. I would prefer not to buy gray market if possible. When I went to Amazon I found one available from Legend Sales / ships and sold by M-X-C Tech. for $363.99. with a USA warranty. MXC has a 99% positve rating out of 539 ratings. There was one at Beach Camera but it included a lot of stuff I don't need. I checked all the reputable dealers I normally use such as B&H photo. I also checked with Adorama and Keh Camera. Would you risk it?

With in the last 6 months there were some refurbished available, I bought one and have very pleased with it. They were priced at less than 200 dollars. there was a sight on UHH but do not remember what it was. It is a gread camera for me but then I am not a pro photographer.

I took a look around and no reviews on either on or listed together. I wouldn't risk it but then going through Amazon they usually stand behind their vendors.

I would try listing it on this forum in the 'Buy/for sale' section for a couple of days and see what happens.

I don't put a whole lot of faith in the reviews because they can be "fixed" to suit the seller. Even when there are some negative reviews they are usually about something piddly and not a deal breaker / maker. I might take a leap and try this seller. Thanks for responding to my post.

I did see them listed on Canon's website, refurbished, just a week ago. If you have time you might want to wait for them to come back up again. They should be less than 200.00 USD.
I really like mine.

I've bought from Beach Camera with no problems. Why don't you contact them direct and ask if you can get just the camera.

The Canon website often has refurbished SX 50 HS's for sale under $200.

There was a UHHer yesterday that was dissatisfied with their SX50. Maybe you can look over yesterday's articles and make an offer?

Amazon dealers are pretty well policed and Amazon will work with you to resolve any issues, so I wouldn't be too concerned about buying from anyone with a reasonable number of sales and good rating there.

I've also bought several things from Beach Camera over the years and they've proven quite reliable too.

Anywhere you look read carefully to be sure you aren't getting gray market or refurb'd, unless those are acceptable to you.

It's out of stock right now at the Canon online store... but you can put yourself on a list to be notified if/when some come in stock. Their current pricing there is $150 for a refurb'd SX50HS, but that could change if/when some come in stock.

I just called them a couple of minutes ago. None in stock. I'm a day late and a dollar short. Thanks for the suggestion though.

I just gave them a call. They are supposed to get back with me when they get more but they have no idea when that may be. Thank you for replying and suggestions.

$149.00 is their price for refurbished which would be fine with me but they are out of stock at this time. I just gave them a call. I will call Beach Camera when they open for business. Thanks for your reply to my post. Gray market is a no no.

I'm giving Beach C. a call in the morning. If they are out of stock I might go ahead and order from Amazon. Canon is out of stock. Thanks for your reply to my post.
