Pulled over at a rest stop on Mexico Highway 1, north of Ensenada, to visit the banos. Saw this interesting bench. A question arose: How many young ladies have sat on this bench to have their picture taken, as a lark?
Bimbo Bench, at Rest Stop, Mexico Highway 1
It's too bad one wasn't available. Otherwise, a nice shot.
Thank you for kind words.
At the end of the building, I found this table and chair arrangement in a corner of the outdoor seating.

I like the second photo better than the first one. The second has good composition and nice red/green color contrast. It also speaks of evenings to come, with happy couples sipping wine and planning tomorrows.
I was hoping to see some "bimbos" on the bench ...
Thank you for your analysis of my second photograph.
In addition, the setting struck me much as it does you, right at the moment I saw it -- so simple yet suggestive of the social potential you describe. Our imagination can picture those seated couples enjoying themselves in this private corner.

Ha, ha. Me, too, but we will have to use our imagination here.

I learned something. Of course, the word has another meaning in the English vernacular.
