It's akin to telling the chef after a wonderful meal "you must have very nice stove".

Your wife must have a great stove, Jerry.
Yes, it's a great good stove, but some nights it doesn't seem to work very well. :D

I met a local woman today, and she said she looked at my web site and like the pictures. "You must have a very good camera. The focus and the colors are very good. It must be a very nice camera." I agreed with her.
I've heard stories about that, but this is my first experience with that type of compliment. I should have said, "I'll forward your compliment to Nikon." :D
Congrats Jerry, it's always nice to hear reassuring news, You deserve it.

Can you imagine if you had a Canon!!!!!!
Just couldn't leave alone, could you?
I like your photos..... camera is great, hehehehe! I especially enjoyed the frost on the windows and the snow on the pine needles.
I have also heard "wow, look at that camera..... I'll bet you can see a whisker from 10 yards with it" and the "send them in to National geographic". I think people mean well.

You do have a superb collection of photos on your website. You also live in a COLD place. I used to so want to move out of the upstate NY snow belt; now that I have, I miss it. Your photos bring back good memories. Thanks.
I always take my canon to weddings and parties. I have had canons since the 70s.we were at a 50th anniversary wedding of some close friends when one of the guests approached me and said, you are the photographer, come over here and take our group picture.I thought to myself, if she is going to put a title to my mane, I guess i'll put a $25.00 price tag to each one of the 3 shots I took of the group.

"A photographer went to a socialite party in New York. As he entered the front door, the host said, 'I love your pictures - they're wonderful. You must have a fantastic camera. He said nothing until dinner was finished, then: 'That was a wonderful dinner; you must have a terrific stove.'" ~Sam Haskins~
