I took this last year and produced a number of versions, on of which was posted on the Hogg (Electric Blue) but did nothing with this one.
The simple repetitive line paters appealed to me, the starkness seemed to overshadow every other shape around and the infinite conclusion.

On For Your Consideration's home page, St3v3M has created a directory, which is super-helpful! There are many tutorials in this forum, as well as theme-based topics (e.g. "sense of place" ). Steve is da man!

I'm honored and thank you! S-

The first one is the original, the second I used an effect called "zero in on the subject" and then used a slider in Image Treatment to increase the contrast.

I did the same with this original, used the same effect to convert it to black and white and simplified it. Used slider to increase contrast.

Here is one with one patch of gray. I call it "The Headless Photographer"
My friend Stan with a Bronica, looking down at the viewfinder.
Edit: Oops, I should have pushed the contrast up a little more![/quote]

I like this image,Ronwande, and I guess I never thought of him as "headless"...Again, ones mind fills in what it knows even when not seen. I saw the briefcase and thought he'd dropped his papers!
