Nature at her finest. Though lovely, these blossoms produce no fruit on these false pear trees in my back yard. Planted after we moved to the property on the southern California coast sometime in the early 70s. With a wee bit of wind that blows the flower petals off the branch, it actually looks like a snowfall. The green grass lawn is dotted with lovely "snowflakes.
