I like it, but........ it is intrinsically a graphic oxymoron. It implies that we photographers are traditionalists. And that I think is largely true. But "traditionalists" generally are not seen wearing a cap backwards or sideways like a hip-hop gangsta wannabe. THAT I have never seen.

I had never heard of this day, so I Googled it.
August 19th is World photography day.

Day after my Birthday so perhaps I will have a new piece of camera gear to use. I doubt it though.

Great. It would make a cool shirt. I sold my Nikon d3100 to a friend and when he gets his phone out, I slap his hand nd yell at him "USE YOUR CAMERA."

It's funny, but I avoid turning my cap around when I put the camera up to my face. I don't want anyone to think I'm trying to be "hip." I either wear a hat that will accommodate a DSLR, or I move it up a bit on my head.

So true... But how many hogs do use a phone camera?
I do... Remember its not the camera that makes the photographer... It's the talent in the eye behind the lens.

I never could call a photographer to someone who carry a phone that also take pictures. A real camera is the tool for the one that love and know about photography.
