That is pretty kick a** for that lens. Very nice!! You must have a good tripod to hold that steady. I had a Nikon 500 back in the film days. I gave up on it, was wasting way to much film. Kind of wish I would have kept now with digital.

Alas, boo hoo, I did something wrong. I did get the settings but when I tried to take the picture a total of nothing and when I turned off my Canon I got a message "Recording" ????????? I will keep trying.

Thanks for thinking of me

That would lead me to think you have the camera on "Record".

Like I said, I know absolutely nothing about this camera; what a learning experience this is going to be. I didn't even know it had a recording on it, lol.

They say you are never too old to learn, well, I just might be the proof of that. I just turned 70 decided I would like to try a little photography, am glad I found this very friendly site and think with the help of people like yourself I will be able to show a flower or a bug before too long.

Main thing is......I'M HAVING FUN.

:P

I didn't know a thing about my camera either when I got it in Nov. There are lots of tutorials online and "how to" videos on youtube. I'm still learning daily.
