I would also add that wine needs to be protected from light. Wine should ALWAYS be brown bagged!

I always use a bag to prevent others from copying my choice of vintage. Usually Chateau du Boonay.

Boone's farm for you connoisseurs.

There is always MD 20/20 if Chateau du Boonay ca not be procured.

After providing mouth to mouth, be sure to extend the pinky finger.

You sir, appear to have missed out on some of the finest varietal's to be adorned in a bag. Bali Hai and Ripple were legendary!

Couldn't think of the name of those big bottles. Bali Hai, truly appropriate for the 60's.

I remember the mid '60's when Ripple and Bali Hai were mainstays. I remember liquor stores in NYC kept coolers stocked with pints and everybody knew which stores never carded. 50 cents a cold pint with a brown bag. Life was great at 16, sometimes the hangovers were too. :-(

I learn something here every day.

Speaking of wine, you can get a good deal from Naked Wine. It's some sort of wine cooperative in CA, and they offer first-time buyers a $100 discount off a case. They send you an assortment of a dozen bottles for $60 - $75. I was satisfied with their selection.
