I began using a Nikon D3300 in January. I have never been to Michigan. I live in Alaska, which is a cold-climate state. So far, I haven't had any issues. Admittedly, I perform slower than my camera in cold weather. When I do spend a lot of time outdoors, I do keep my spare battery warmly in my pocket.
I guess I am also concerned with "Condensation" issues. Both in Cold & Hot weather, I have read up on it, although as yet NOT allowed myself to be confronted with this condensation issue in my Photography. I have not used my D3300 outside in the Cold winter climate or in the Hot & High humidity of the Florida Summer weather. Mainly have avoided it due to the expense of replacing damaged Camera and Lens. Am I overly cautious or just being careful, I am confused on this issue.
