Now on ebay. What a lot of fuss over nothing if somebody had just done a little work themselves.

I've also learned that you can call Nikon and get a manual $9. This was mentioned in another thread.

Maybe you should check out your information before posting. I did look on the nikonusa site for a first solution, but they didn't list a copy of it. I just rechecked the site again and checked seven pages of manuals, 127 or so book titles and they still do not show the D7200 manual for sale. Enough said regarding this issue. There must be more important things to deal with today.

Just received a D7200 referbed camera from Adorama and it came with out a owners manual. Called Adorama and was told to download it. I really would like to have a light weight copy to keep in the camera case. Nikonusa doesn't list one either. Does anyone know if the D7100 owners manual would be any different and if so what basically would the differences be? Thanks. Leon

I found the best way to get a manual on paper, is to down load the manual from nikon, and put it on a thumb drive, or something you can take out. and take it to Office Depot and have it printed. If you watch for a coupon it should only cost you about $25.00 or so. I do this with all of my camera purchases. Good luck............Mike

Leon, did you contact Nikon directly. Sometimes a phone call is all it takes.

I never thought that you bought from anyone but Adorama.

You should be able to get a manual for your D7200 at manualsink.com.

I don't understand why you don't just put the manual on your phone. That way you'll have it with you all the time and you'll have search capabilities.

Definitely don't waste any time, and get a David Busch manual for this D7200..You can get the large one, or a small form factor version which will fit you camera bag. The Busch mauand the absolute BEST reference manuals on any camera that he's published! Chek them out on Amazon..It will be the BEST and LEAST money you can spend on learning how to use this camera, and a great reference for future questions that I guarantee you will have on this marvelous camera!

I concur. Have bought Busch manuals for every Nikon camera since D3100. His books provide very clear and usable info not found in the Nikon manual. I have both the book and the Field Guide. Cheers - JRH

This is not a lightweight manual, but I highly recommend "Nikon D7200 for Dummies" which is available at Amazon.com. I have "Nikon D5500 for Dummies" which is better and more readable than the user manual. I could not get along without it. Hope this helps you.

DUDE!! and I thought I was OCD!, so what you are saying is "you want the manual that is supposed to come with the camera" AND you do not want to go to Nikonusa" and download it for free, then go have one printed"??
I got it!!!

I bought David Busch's manual from Barnes and Noble for the D7200. Also have same for my D7000.

You might also opt for a "manual" by David Busch or Darrell Young or other recommended authors. (Amazon) I've picked up a couple by Busch and successfully use them. Easier and more in depth than the Nikon manuals,at least to me.

Not "a light weight copy to keep in the camera case". The Busch manual I have is a 658 page full size book!

I don't understand why so many people keep recommending this when Leon already said he doesn't have an iPhone and doesn't want to carry a tablet. I'm in the same situation. My $30 phone makes phone calls. :XD:

I think it must be a HOG thing. I have a land line. Rather hard to load and go.

Doesn't much matter, but I bought my refurbished D7100 from Adorama, and included was the 355 page (all English) manual. Even so, the first thing I did was buy the smaller of the two Busch guides, which easily fits in my backpack. It's much better illustrated and far easier for me to understand.

(My refurb, however, didn't include the software (CD) that comes with a new camera.)
