Note three things... No Currency, No collection of the whisky taxes and the New Country depended on import tariffs for revenue until the War of 1812.

Country was in debt, trying to suck blood out of turnips. It seems that freedom was not free.

In those days you could stamp your own coins, after all, it was only as good as what it was stamped on.

I do believe you correctly said there were taxes in 1790"s

(not 1790) However your debate skills don't give you much credibility or invitation to anyone wanting to listen.

regarding a history of taxes....

Oh-oh! I think Bangee dug his hole so deep he can't get out now. Can someone go and rescue Bangee from yet another one of his deep holes he got himself into again? Actually, never mind. I really can't deal with that level of idiocy and retardation. His particular combination of complete and utter ignorance and arrogance is worse than I have ever seen. Maybe he should stay in there...

Oh my goodness, what happened liar? Did you lose yet another playmate liar? I guess someone else has figured out that sentences of more than two words really overwhelm you. Looks like you have been owned yet again liar. Pretty soon there will be so many people on here that have owned you there won't be anything left.
Let's see liar. How about a partial list of some of your lies just in the last 24 hours.

1. You lied about green energy meeting all of our transportation needs.
2. You lied when you said all functioning states in the world levy an income tax.
3. You lied when you stated NO first world countries use diesel power in their trains today.
4. You lied when you said there was a Federal Currency in the 1790s.
5. You lied when you stated all train systems in first world countries are run by the government.

Just a partial list of your lies dirt bag. I could go on. Going to fact check you constantly retard. Get used to it.

yeah...goods coming from outside the states not taxing people within...you were correct there were some tax attempts but as I have stated, ....This does not justify socialism or an income tax.

Hole Safety: How Deep Is Too Deep to Dig
http://www.danspapers.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/DigtoChinaWEB.jpg

My god what is going on with you? Are you really this complete of an imbecile? Do you really want to keep digging your hole deeper? This is the last time I am going to respond to your idiocy. After this you are on your own. I can't waste time on people who refuse no matter how many times I disprove their idiocy to stop making a complete ass of them self no matter how many times I do their homework for them.

Currencies of the 1790's in the US included currencies issued by State charted banks as well as the the currency issued by The First Bank of the United States (1791-1811)
http://www.let.rug.nl/usa/essays/general/a-brief-history-of-central-banking/the-first-bank-of-the-united-states-(1791-1811).php

Now onto Federal taxes. Just read the link about the history of taxes in America that someone correctly pointed out indicates there were federal excise and tariff taxes at least since the 1790's JUST LIKE I SAID: http://mises.org/library/rocky-road-american-taxation

Now, let's summarize our mind-numbingly frustrating conversation so far:

1) You claimed that during the early existence or our country there was no compulsory federal tax system, only state taxes for a very long time.

2) I said that was false and that The US government began a compulsory tax system almost immediate after the Constitutional government was formed in 1789, and included the example of the 1791 Whisky Excise Tax.

3) Then you made the utterly asinine response as folows:

Bangee5 wrote:
Keenan, there was no currency at that time to even pay taxes. The only tax paid before then was to the King of England. Just about every state and territory had different paper or coin and even gold to buy and sale goods, much less pay a Federal tax.

4) After I shredded your nonsense above, and proved that not only was there federal tax systems almost immediately from the beginning of our Republic, there were also currencies to pay those taxes, you completely denied it and accused me of making up the 1791 Whisky tax.

5) I posted an article about the 1791 Whisky Excise Tax.

6) Not only have you still refused to apologize and admit you were wrong, You apparently are not done digging your hole...

WHY DO YOU GO ON LIKE THIS? WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO ACCOMPLISH?

I'm done with your idiotic crap. You just refuse to have an honest conversation and even after you have been proven wrong over and over again, you continue on and try to argue straw men, like "well, it wasn't a real federal currency", and "well, most of the taxes they collected were tariffs and not excise taxes..." and blah blah blah blah, basically anything but admitting that I was correct and YOU HAD MADE FLAT OUT FALSE STATEMENTS. I am not going to continue trying to have a conversation with some one who is too immature to attempt to have even a minimally honest and intelligent debate. You are not worth any more of my time.
