IPhone Remote

Has anyone used the iphone remote for thier 7D or Xsi? If you have what are pro and cons? Most of all is worth the $19.99 price tag?

You can get a Canon wireless remote for under $20, and an imitation for under $3. I'm guessing they would be easier to use than an app on the iPhone.

Have you checked reviews on the App site?

No.

I belive you can do time laps photography with the phone app

Just found this the other day,you can use your head set vol control as a remote shutter release on apple phones 5 to present 6s

If you are talking about a Trigger Trap, the app is free, you have to buy the cable. It's a very good app that allows for many types of photography like star trails, time lapse, HRD. Not to mention remote release.
