It also holds true that ------
Without PHOTOS Your also not a PHOTOGRAPHER
Once again ---- If you are a photographer --- Then lets see some of you fine work

Pretty aggressive statements from a guy who has never posted any images here.

Either put up or shut up yourself.

I was informed that the main purpose of CROP was to emphasize the subject and eliminate or limit distracting clutter.

The photo's in this series were taken by invitation to the events and were done so in a candid format. All are editorial in content and understood by the subjects to be so.

I had no control over lighting conditions and nothing was posed.

I am the first to admit that I am an amateur and have not the foggiest idea of how to properly photograph anything.

That said, I am open to learning!!!

Hand Held! And the point is should I crop or not, if CROP, what would be better?

I had no control over lighting conditions. Anything I might modify in camera settings to compensate?

I joined this forum to learn. If all I get is put downs then it's a waste of all our time and tells me what this forum is truly about!

Don't get all in a huff.
Use a more descriptive title.
State in your post what you want, don't expect others to know what you are thinking.
Post in the proper forum section.

Gregory, there's no need for people to be so nasty in their replies. Makes other amateurs like me almost afraid to post here!

The real reason for the replies is that this was posted in the wrong forum. No one would have paid attention otherwise. I guess this is a reaction to repeated 'mistakes'* more than anything else.
