I have seen this wonderful work before. But look at the picture of the snake. The shadows on the tubes of paint (real) are different than the shadows on the snake. A tiny detail, perhaps, but potentially ruining the illusion.

Are you Joking.......................................Absolutely nothing is ruined for my eyse. I think they are all fabulous. I would love to see some of your 3D drawings and we could compare them and see what proper 3D drawings are like.

Thanks for you criticism and comments........................................ruining the illusion??????????????????

I am truly sorry I caused such a reaction. As I should perhaps have said: "Given the utter perfection of the drawings, it is a shame that in the cover photograph, someone placed ink tubes on the image in such a way that the shadows of the ink tubes contradicted the painted shadows of the snakes, potentially ruining or lessening the illusion in this photo. Some viewers, of course, may not notice such a small detail, and for them the illusion is perfect. For those of us who do see such detail, however, the conflict is not helpful. "
