I know the old owners and they sold it but a contractor bought it and calls it his cottage and he has been rebuilding now for at least three years. He has squared up the barns and really doing a great restoration

I see you have enjoyed that park, too. I love the view of the Connecticut River from there.

I took this several years ago and went looking for it last night until I fell asleep at the computer! I made a print of this one and gave it to the Motel owners who also own the dogs!
I thought I was the only one who ever fell asleep at the computer!

I have to say while I have a lot of empathy for those of you caught in the path of the latest storm because I have been through those kinds of severe weather events in my younger life. However, I have to add I am really enjoying all your "through the window shots" of that lovely snow. No better place to enjoy it that right here on my back porch.
Found a few TTW shots from Portland.

Like the windows. Wonder how it would look with top right roof line cropped out. The windshield give a different color "filter".

LAst one really grabbed my attention.
always liked the one looking out of the church window, in the shopping square in Tlaquepaque AZ, one of the old cabins up at Mt. Charleston, a window of chickens in Chinatown SF, liked the image of the flag in the window the dog just sat there watching me never moving, and the 3 Scotties looking through the window (this was not my photo but a fun one I put into backdgrounds that I did for a fellow hogger of the 3 dogs)
This Chihuly sculpture is at the Joslyn Museum in Omaha. Went to see
the Flower Show at The Cathedral and then to Joslyn for the "Go West" exhibit last Saturday.
The building outside and across the parking lot/sculpture gardens is "Central High School" (It was originally the 1st State Capitol building, prior to moving the capitol to Lincoln).
40' sculpture by Chihuly
