do u work with any photoediting software?frank bruce
Oh yes, I cut my photo editing teeth with the original Adobe Photo Deluxe versions way back when Windows first came out. I do love my PhotoShop. But the truth be known, my goal with every shot I take is for it to be so perfectly composed, exposed, focused that little if any post editing is required. The content is a different matter all together. Content is highly subjective to personal opinion.

are you lookin for photography or something else?
I'm not quite sure what you mean, but yes, actually, I'm more interested in videography than photography. I make documentary films for a local historical museum using dual AVCHD video cameras and a large green-screen, which requires extensive post-production editing with backgrounds & photos, etc. I use Adobe Premiere for video/DVD production.

Here is a couple of others from the session last night. Nothing done yet expect cropping. Let me know what your thoughts and ideas are.
My fave is the top one of these two. I would do a bit of skin manipulation to increase the contrast between her body and the background. The second photo looks to be a bit over-posed to me. I would rather see her in dark pants than it a strained skirt. Also the metal device in the left front seems distracting.

Thanks for the advise. As I said we have not done anything to these photos yet other than cropping. We will begin to work on them as soon as we get the 1000 school pics printed that I took a couple of weeks ago.

Please let me know your opinions of this photo. I used a Nikon D3S the flame background was added in photoshop.
I don't like the pose at all. Her left thigh looks like she has very short fat legs. No girl wants that. Most women want their legs to look long and slim in a pictures.
This is important to remenber when taking pictures of women/girls. If they look fatter then they are, they will hate the picture. That's universal.
Now as far as the Devil child back ground that just a matter of personal taste. Personaly, I feel you should still have an air of innocents around you for high school pictures. To look like your posing for a Harley Davison add, is a bit to risky, and may not go over well with most Grandparent, Aunts, teachers etc..
why does it look like she has a black eye in the first photo?
should have moved the left leg out a little, move further away from the flames, but beautiful subject
Here is my tweak on one of these.
original
tweaked

What do you mean? Is this a slur on meeeee?
Most young girls want to look sexy. They have no idea what their in for. It was up to Mom to intervene. With Victoria Secret and other stuff gears toward young girls like the PINK products, It's really hard to keep them away from the overly sexy look.
When I go in their seem like most of the customer are 12-18 year old girls sometimes with their mothers. Sometimes not. That includes my two girls who are 16 and 18 and all their friends. So yeah they all want to look sexy. But, not everyone want to see tramping looking pictures of girls. Many schools won't even allow those kind of shots in the year book. At least not the two schools my girls go to. Ones in Catholic school the others in public school.
