p6 Congrats, Mary on a new computer. You were getting a new iMAC, right? Does it have El Capitan and if so how do you like it? I loved the image and did see you in the window :)

Yes, it has El Capitan. I had updated my last computer to El Capitan so am already familiar with using it. I'm glad to be back on a big 27 inch screen rather than my laptop.

This morning, I saw a much longed for Cedar Waxwing in Bird Alley, just the one! I am hoping this is an advance scout and that many more will show up during the day!

And lastly, an extreme way to view a sunset. I was lying on my couch watching the news when I saw this sunset reflected in my neighbour's window. My camera was within reach so I took this sunset through my window reflected in my neighbour's window.

And lastly, an extreme way to view a sunset. I was lying on my couch yesterday evening watching the news when I saw this sunset reflected in my neighbour's window. My camera was within reach so I took this sunset through my window reflected in my neighbour's window. The post in the center of the sunset is a support post in my neighbour's wrap around porch.

It is with pleasure that we have been feeding this stray cat recently. I mean its winter and to be hungry and cold and lonely and homeless is not a desired state to be in, and it seems to have taken up residence under our door step so why not share a little food with it! And its always at the food dish when I return to my porch after refilling its bowl and when I look out the window and I can see its already eating. I think it eagerly waits for me to fill its dish every day and I receive an appreciative glance or so as it looks up at me. It warms me as I stand jacketless in my cold back porch.

delicious!
