Does anyone have any experience with one of these and are any out there for sale?
Thank you.

I cannot answer your question, but you seem to have captured beautifully a dramatic moment. Looks like a crow using a tool to catch food. If I attribute the photo to you, may I repost to FB as an example of aviary intelligence?
Thank you for the comment. Actually I request that you do not post the image elsewhere. It's part of a pending project.
I appreciate your respect as a member of this forum.
Thank you.
Sorry it's so late to respond, but I've used one of these for a couple of years and they are fantastic bits of kit. They completely change your ability to stalk and hunt your target, coming away with the satisfaction of the challenge and excellent images.
I have the 300d model with the press button trigger, slightly modified to remove any rattles or noise and to allow the ability to support it in a prone position to take images in wait. It's also good for taking images of large birds of prey, as you can follow them as they swoop or strike, as in this Red Kite that I caught in a farm field. They're also great for catching images which you come across suddenly.
In Scotland, they are doing ghillie stalking events which used to be done for hunting and now is being done for photographers, using all the skills of stalking, fieldcraft and photography, it's a great couple of days and can get some great images.
Bush Hawk is no longer online and the website has been showing the holding page for the last year, so I expect that you would only be able to get on secondhand, which is a real shame as there is no equivalent.
I have experience with something similar by a different company.
https://sharpshooterindustries.com/index.php Works really good. The only problem I had this past winter was some people thought I was holding a gun and not a camera and lens. Hope this helps you in your search for stability using a heavy camera and lens.
