..I can understand that theory. This shot is one reason maybe you should reconsider. Although it does not duplicate, it can evoke the memory of when you were there. For me the viewer I can almost feel the damp ground under my feet, and my eyes squinting from the soft glare. Well done Mr. Spad.
Why this works Frank is there is foreground subjects and the huge seascape forms a backdrop. When I say landscape does not work is just a shot of a huge mountain or whatever and nothing in the foreground.
Without being able to shoot between the boats I would not have taken this.
