She is very cute! A little princess baseball player! Did you use a flash for that shot?

Hi Val,
Thanks for the comment. Yes, I was using a Nikon SB-900 as fill flash dailed down about a 3rd of a stop.

not sure the flip-flops and tiara go with the baseball glove, but hey, run with it!

Nice to have a model like that around all the time to shoot. What a little doll she is, so sweet and innocent. With a grandfather as a photographer what more could you ask for. Lively shots.

Thank you ! Yes, it's a blessing to have her as my model when I need to play around with the lighting in the studio and out in the field.

I think the simpler the better. I like the first photo best, because I think the lettering on the blouse distracting. I would think about losing the props -- so many things going on. You have a lovely subject. A simple over the shoulder smile with the tiara at the water's edge -- how simple and elegant that would have looked! Your skill, however, is evident.

flip flop and a cut out shrit just don't go with the whole baseball theme. Cute girl, but corney shots.
Good job, on color and lighting though.

I like the work, lighting etc and the beauty of the subject but the outfit, sporting equipment topped by a tiara just say no. :)

I have one just the same age. Aren't they great? They keep us young!

I love #1. I "get it" the tiara and the baseball bat- versatile girl.

We always laugh about my daughter--- on a horse then coming in smelling like the stables-- next thing you know the hair is swept into an updo and she is in a vintage lace dress going out for dinner.

It's an anything goes age ... and this generation does NOT care about the rules of dress. They totally ignore us in this regard as with so many other things.
