Mosquito wing scales at 10:1 Mag - Focus-stacked

Background is a little hot but I was trying to show the scales through the transparent wing. Each vein on the wing has tiny scales on both sides of the wing. If you download & zoom in, you can clearly see the scales on the back side of the wing. Enjoy!
