Any thoughts on a point and shoot fujifilm x30. I need it for when i am in crowded areas and my nikon d750 is too big. Can i set one for back button focus

Cannot comment on the X30 but I use the X100T for the exact reason that you stated. It is an incredible camera that takes amazing photos. And yes, it does have back button focus. Rpavich is correct about the Fuji forum. I visit there daily as well as here.
Yes you can set back button focus----ael-aef button. I have an X30, and its a great little camera!

I bought an X30 a year or so ago to use primarily when traveling around cities where my DSLR is too heavy and obvious. The IQ results (shooting raw primarily) have been excellent. It truly is a photographer's camera with all the options you could ever want on a camera, and more. The EVF is outstanding and the camera FEELS like a camera in your hands, but is still small enough to be unobtrusive.
