It trains your eye to see in frames. The Ansel Adams frame was made out of the tickness of a file folder with a 4 x 5 opening. Try it you may like it. It has trained my eye and as I scan a landscape I can now visualize Horizontal or Vertical, wide angle, medium lend telephoto lens opportunities.
