Hi,
Thought I share some of my birds photos from my Botswana (Kwa-tuli) trip. All these picture are taken with old D5100, and my Sigma 120-400mm
And it was the time when I started to get more serious about photography and was on my first learning stage.
Enjoy

I loved my D5100 as well. I believe I could have done even better if I had the knowledge I have today.
What saved my pictures is having lots of time. I spendt over a month in that reserver, and took many attempts to get those for keepers.

Great series. You have set a very high bar for those of us who are trying to learn bird photography. Keep it up. We will all follow...but not too closely.
I get really good feeling inside when I share something you like.
I can say that I was lucky to attend a little crush course about bird identification while my stay in Botswana. And the place is packed with lots of pretty small and large birds. Thou I did not had the time to dedicated to just that.
not really my field bird photography, but do take the time when it arrives. Also I saw many birds being posted on UHH, but not so much from this area.
Very happy you enjoyed them, and glad to share it with you.
