Need to ask you hogs a question. My team the Green Packers and the Minn. Vikings were sch'd. to play at 12 noon today for the Div. championship on Fox network (NW). That has been changed to 7:30 on NBC (NW). What do these idiots (networks) have to do to take away a sch. program from one NW to another NW. Is there a change of a lot of money, trades done? May be some one out there that works(?) for a NW that can explain this to me. This causes a lot of problems with not only the viewers but,80,000 fans who attend the game from lower Wis. and Minn. In the Midwest in the winter months the temp. drops at night. Of course who cares about fans when there's a lot of money involved.

The networks pay millions for the privilege of carrying any NFL game and as we all know money talks. Probably a network scheduling problem. They don't care that it causes problems... just their millions.

Being 1st in the worst division in football does not mean much.

Oh that hurt. Even if it's true. Our whole div. is not what it was. Both teams, Packers and Vikings, fought for first in our div., but not at the high level they've done in the past. The Bears and Lions just sucked. One/Two years ago they were very good teams. I can only talk about the Packers, but they need big changes bad. In the mean time I'm pulling for Vikings if the Packers can't pull a miracle.

With some limitations, the NFL controls the schedules. Their goal is to make the "best" games available to the widest audience i.e., the prime time nationwide audience as opposed to the afternoon regional audiences. Local fan interest is really not a concern of the NFL.

I don't like to call someone an idiot but if you think the NFC North is worse than the NFC East or the AFC South you fit the term.

The point was how can they make a big change of 7.5 hours. I've been to a Chicago/Packer game, but I bought the tickets months ahead of time. My twin brother was never to a Packer game or Lambeau field and he lives in Minn. It was my treat. All the plans were to leave early morning, but then it changed to a 3:oo game. It's no big deal, but 7.5 hours? This is what is setting me off. Two weeks straight I was watching the Seattle Seahawks game and both times in the third quarter they switched to another game in progress. Like someone said before it's the money and not the fans.

The "F" in NFL doesn't stand for fair, fans or fun it stands for "finances". I'd be as ticked off as you but the only way things will change is if folks stop buying tickets and jerseys or watching games and I don't see that happening. I've had to deal with late season game changes too but in the NFL's defence tickets and schedules for games late in the season, generally after Thanksgiving, carry some type of caveat such as "time subject to change".

I never really understood paying the money they get for tickets when you can see much more of the game on TV. Other obvious benefits of watching at home also.

Let me do this one more time. I'm not throwing things around in my apt., not cursing day and night about it. I'm just saying "7.5 hrs., 7.5 hrs., 7.5 hrs., 7.5 hrs."
