Testing a recent eBay purchase: a 5x finite microscope objective. Mounted on a Nikon PB-5 bellows which is mounted on a Velmex A4000 Unislide. SB-800 speedlight at 1/32 power thru paper towel diffuser. Total of 163 frames @ .021 mm steps. Try the download.

Much appreciated. The thumb nail looks pixelated to me.

Nikon 5x MM (Measuring Microscope) objective, NA 0.13, WD 64mm (YUP! No typo ---WD 64 mm) It's very sensitive to lighting. Very easy to bring out the CA but seems pretty sharp. More forgiving when pushed down to 2.5x.

Thanks, I'm still working on lighting but slowly moving forward.
Yup! Just a bellows & the 5x objective. The designed "tube" length is 200-mm from sensor to back of objective mounting flange. I can collapse the bellows completely & get 2.5x. I think I may really like this lens.
