Its an overcast beautiful fall day, so I'm outta here. Gonna go out and "Shoot" somethings. My 9mm, my .38 special and my Nikon D90, before I ummmmmmm never mind. ya'll have a great day... and remember to respect each other's opinions as you want yours to be respected.

Plans change, Admin moved this to the Main Photography Section from the Chit Chat, I guess because it contained the words Nikon and shoot. No problem.... I thought it was just chit chat....ANYWAY.......it began raining fairly good so the outside plans are gone for today.

I have identical weather conditions, cloudy, overcast but dry. Those are my absolute favorite shooting conditions. I headed off to a favorite park and came back with 47 frames. I kept one goose photo I liked. The leaves haven't changed color in this particular park so I'll wait another week and try again. Photography is a test in patience sometimes.

i dont know about her nikon, but the 9mm and the .38 sure are weather resistant. DB just how long have you worked for the post office? :lol: :D

I slept in, got my hair cut, went for a Fall Color photowalk where it rained on me & my wife (good thing I had my waterproof camera), had a great mexican food lunch, ran a few errands, picked up my car from the repair shop,took a nap, and I have been posting to Ugly Hedgehog for a bit.
Tomorrow starts my 3 day work week; I just don't seem to find too many sympathetic ears...;-).

So many gray days, I know what you mean DB. I got tired of waiting for the clouds to clear away. With bread in one hand and my Canon in the other , I went to the lake to feed the ducks and geese and take a few shots . This is what I got. God bless gray days. I love the way the gray skies show up on the water. This one's for you Bob.

Sunny and cloudless. Went out to the local airport and took photographs of butterflys. The Monarchs are moving south and there were more of them flying than airplanes.

I think I'll take my wife, baby, and concealed Kimber .45ACP to the nearby huge shopping mall where 20+ city cops and 10 mall security guards roam the place while gangsta types still gang-rush the retail stores and steal them blind, hold up jewelry stores at gunpoint, rape women in the multi-level parking lot, steal purses and shopping bags, and hijack cars with babies in the back seats.
I'll leave my camera home today. Maybe I'll flip the bird at a few Wall Street protestors on the way just for grins so we can respect each others' opinions.
