Only because they refused to keep playing the king's game.
Now we are refusing to play a similar game.

I disagree with your attitude regarding "UNION GREED."

Labor Unions are the only thing that allows a working man to insist on a living wage suitable for the skills required for his job.

If you hire out at McDonalds, say, you are forced to accept the wage they offer. An individual negatiating with a company with thousands and thousands of employee has no chance. They offer the job, take it or leave it.

If you are represented by, say, ten thousand organized employees, McDonalds has to sit down and discuss wages and working conditions.

It seems to me, only an ignorant or wildly misinformed person would be against that.

I was a union member for 45 years, and it served me well at a number of different levels.

I think you are a prisoner of your own misunderstandings, and it costs you money.

But, then, perhaps you didn't want a better wage, improved working conditions, and a say in how your job should go.

To each, his own.
I disagree with your attitude regarding "UNIO... (show quote)

45 Years!!! Maybe you are brainwashed!

I worked for a non-union company. Here comes the union. Hundreds of open-minded employees looked at both sides.
'We the People' voted NO TO THE UNION.

Confiscating their drug and gun money should just about cover it 'eh.
And bringing back the death penalty will eliminate the need to take more money from taxpayers that funds other failing projects.

sure why not... it costs us $39 Billion to incarcerate our prison population... $31K for each inmate... are you interested in paying for their room and board?

Are you interested in housing them in your home if the government gave you $31K to do so?

our war on drugs has created the above skewed situation... most of these prisoners would be free and contributing members of society... that is unless you believe we are that much more criminally motivated than the other countries shown.

This proves that guns are never the answer. The day will come when something so horrible, something that will make Sanndy Hook like nothing, happens and the guns will be collected. It will happen.

The main reason for that is because the other countries put them in once, never to be seen on the outside. Whereas the US lets them out soon after being incarcerated just to be put back in again, and again, and again …

It's a crime that they don't get it … :-D
But someday they may become a victim, and it will be a bit late.
