Still waiting for;

PEACE on EARTH

and

GOOD WILL to MEN & WOMEN

If we can't at least hope for that today ...

The only way this will happen is if we are given frontal lobotomies at birth. As long as there are more than one person alive there will be differences of opinion.

Thankfully, I have received another day alive and well on Mother Earth. That experience suffices for me.

Four books on Japanese Haiku, one book on Ancient Chinese poetry and a lovely big book on Roman history. Yummm! And a case of PG tips tea.
Everything I need for winter.
And I wish a merry day for everyone.

Well, got home made garlic pretzels. Couple of gift cards for food joints and a xtreme Flyer Drone. Got a minute or two flying time out of the box and charging via USB now.

Yesterday, I got to watch the sparkles in the eyes of my grand-children as they opened their gifts and the satisfied looks in the faces of my children as they finished their meal. Today will be round two, with my step-family, and we'll get to do it all over again. :-) This is what I look forward to. Plus watching my year-old grand-daughter fall asleep in my arms.

Besides the gifts, I was able to get on my knees and thank the Lord we still live in a free country where we can still celebrate the birth of Christ!
