That's right. 44 years ago this evening. I've enjoyed every minute of those years together. The places we've gone, things we saw, and moments we captured. Treasures, every one of them.

This camera appears to be well used.
Was it in the shop very often? I've heard they're built like tanks.

And I am betting it STILL takes great images!

And you opted for the extra cost for the all black body too. Great choice!
(Also a good example of why camera wear has always been called "Brassing"!

Mine was a silver hockey puck. I still compare all other cameras to it, she is a well worn beauty!

There is a special joy in seeing a beautiful piece of equipment being used and even worn out doing what it was intended to do! Thanks for showing, many memories!!

Something tells me it's just well worn... Not worn out.
I've had a few of them.
Still find them attractive.

Always get castigated for forgetting anniversaries. Mine might be a touch older, but ah, the silver hair.... ;-)

Yours looks better today than mine did when I bought it used in the early 70's! Which lens is that on her?

I agree with you, but wouldn't it be something to have been able to have actually worn one out. My old K-1000 was used to death when I gave it to my son, he later gave it to a friend, and it still looks/works good! They were wonderful camera's! Always wanted an F model, probably one of the reasons I bought a Df!

I had that lens on my wish list for years! Mine came with a 50mm f/2. The cheapie.
