I own the same combination and the Canon bag. Fits without issue, with room for more accessories. I also own the Tamron 150-600 and they fit as well. Love the bag. Gary

The Canon Deluxe Backpack 200 EG, is amazing to me it small but big enough to carry the gear I need for a shoot. I have many bags that I have picked up along the way. I have seen that bag in Thrift Store cheap and beyond retail price. I have added something to de-logo it and better fit equipment. I have carried it just behind the console of my truck and used it as a shoot box.

My son has the Canon backpack and I like it a lot, I have an expensive Tamrac backpack which is nice but value wise the Canon bag is a much better value as long as you don't want to carry 4 or 5 lenses.
Nah, I tried that--briefly. Didn't work.

I second this recommendation. There are many options out there, but for much more $$$$. For $36.19 right now at B&H, this is a steal.
I may have to buy another at that price! Has served me well.

Many years ago when I first got into photography I was told never keep your camera in a bag and the reason for that was that by the time you got the camera out of the bag and set to take the picture it would be to late. Keep the camera out and preset so you would be ready for most anything that might happen....I always preset mine at ISO 400. F8 and between 300 and 500 sec. on an average nice day and from there go according to the days condition of light. I only use a bag to carry other items such as lenses etc....Rich

I have several Tamrac camera bags including their 608 Pro, which I have had for 20+ years. Believe they were bought out, but do not know by whom. They made high quality camera bags.

My son bought me a Mountainsmith bag at the recommendation of a professional rockclimbing photographer. It's a backpack/sling format that I can swing to the front to access without taking it off my bag. Traveled 2 weeks in Germany and loved it. Carried my Canon 7D and 2 lenses with extra batteries. Great bag.

Went to the mountainSmith website and the bag is Descent for $99. My Canon 7D had a battery pack attached on my German trip too.
My sense of humor varies too much!
