I own the Giga T Pro II remote and the Canon T-3 camera.
The lens focuses fine and executes picures with no problem when nothing is attached.
However, when I attach the Giga T, the lens (which is set to AF) no longer focuses. I press the shutter release 1/2 way as per the instructions and nothing happens. I then press the shutter release all the way and the picture is taken. Of course the picture is out of focus.
Am I missing a setting somewhere? Does anyone know how to fix this?
The lens is a Canon EF 24-105 and the camera is set in Av at F4.0. Iso is set at 1600.

Did you ask the manufacturer? Perhaps there is some setting that you need to make or change...
Thanks,
Yes I've been through both. I guess it is worth going through the manual again though.
Not yet. I'll give them a try tomorrow, if no one on this site knows.
I'm just not looking forward to staying on hold. I guess I'm not being fair to the Hahnel people, but whenever I try to get information on electronics, it seems like I'm trying to understand a middle eastern accent.

If you have bbf set turn it off
tsilva,
Nope. Thanks for the response, but I do not have Back Button Focus Set.

Gitchiguni,
As it turns lout, the manufacturer is in Ireland. Could not find a US Phone # so I emailed them yesterday. I'm waiting for a response and I'll post it when it comes in.

I've always received prompt responses when I've emailed them
