The makers of the latest Star Wars film were looking "for the most magical forest on the face of the earth" ,they found it, in The Royal Forest of Dean, a mile away from where I am sitting, at Puzzelwood an old opencast iron mine, last worked by the Romans nearly two thousand years ago, it is said that this area inspired both JRR Tolkein and JK Rowlings and is used by several television series such as the BBC's DR Who.

Lovely shots - color and detail! I particularly like the deer. They are majestic animals.
