Three shot HDR processed in LR CC and Topaz. Thanks to LR I was able to pull some detail into the moon. Before post the moon was a white disc, even in the under shot. Nikon D800 and Tamron 28-75 2.8.

I like this a bunch. Here is an idea to explore. Make the moon the focal point by enlarging it some. Then, clone a few clouds around it so it looks like its coming up from behind them. If you cropped a bit off the bottom it would force the eye up to the larger moon. Just a couple of ideas to play with. Nothing wrong with this one other than the moon, while realistic, is too small, for my taste.

The touch of color in the clouds is wonderful. Add to crop suggestions: make portrait orientation by cropping out all of the foreground oof branches on left and some off the right. I like the uniqueness of the small-ish moon in the landscape.

Tom, this is very nicely done. I like the composition on a variety of levels. The work you did is not over done. The tones are all realistically represented. Nice job.
