Whoa! Talk about dramatic lighting transforming a scene ..... this is really good. For some off-the-wall reason I'm put in mind of the Danube.

Thanks! I shot it previously when the Christmas lights were on (about froze my behind off getting that shot, the river was 3/4ths frozen over), but the shot didn't come out nearly as well as this one (shot in warmer weather).

Thanks to all who commented. If you visit Philly, be sure to check out the nice long park that runs along the river. A place called the Water Works is nice to visit with a number of notable architectural features and from where you can shoot the Boathouse Row. Across the street from the Water Works is the Philadelphia Art Museum famous for it's steps that Sylvester Stallone ran up in the movie "Rocky". A full size bronze statue now stands at the foot of those steps showing Rocky in one of his boxing stances.
