Today's B&H enews came where there is a review of Stylish Cameras. Can a scene be turned into a "great" photo with anything but a stylish camera !

If you have shoes that match your handbag, you probably need a stylish camera. :D

If you think so it will. If you think it can't it won't.

That Sony/Hasselblad mirrorless was indeed a pretty, and most likely, considering its combined pedigree, a very capable product that looks good doing it.

Isn't this argument akin to comparing a old LandRover to a Lamborghini, they both get you there... LOL

Well, this just cries out for having a "camera beauty contest." Who will be the the first to march their favorite down the runway (to fame).

I do remember when Nikon introduced the F4 and it's "insane" price tag. I do remember it being something like 5X the cost of an F3. We soon referred to it as "Yuppie Jewelry". It brought on a new appreciation of the F3 by many users. In fact, the F3 outlasted the F4 and remained in production for 21 years.

People lust after stylish cars. Why not stylish cameras too?

LOL- Me too, interesting perhaps. Frankly, i don't find Rolls Royce's particularly attractive, but the quality, craftsmanship and materials are there!

There were several layouts of this Hasselblad/Sony... perhaps one is more to your liking. I don't find many cameras attractive, like the Apollo LEM now on the moon, all built for function.

Except perhaps a wood 8x10 format camera and matching tripod I saw once on Martha's Vinyard's Gay Head Beach (Named that in the 1600's). Or was it the attractive young girl peering under the hood? :)

Maybe they do, but the Land Rover is much more fun.
