The only way to get pictures on station is direct from camera. Once pictures are put on a computer, they can not be downloaded to station.I made the mistake of buying one. Canon told me it was not possible to get pictures from computer to station. You have been warned

A challenge? How about putting the files on a card, put the card in the camera, then from camera to station? just a thought, Bob.

The entire point of the unit is to use your images WITHOUT having to interface with a computer. If you really HAVE to put pics on the station from the computer, you can transfer those pics to a memory card, insert it in a camera with NFC, and transfer them that way. Seems kind of pointless though. Did you buy this unit not being aware of what it actually was?

Next time, OP, instead of making such an absurd post, READ before hand what you are getting. This type of gadget is made as a way to back up your files WITHOUT a computer....

Congrats on your first post here. What a way to make an impression.

Not owning Canon, I really didn't know what this was, so, I looked it up. Took a bit since it is not a CSI 100, it is a CS 100. Odd how you made that mistake. I then did a quick read of the product overview and read a few reviews. It was very clear to me what this thing is and it's limitations. Oh well, you got what you paid for. Next time, do a bit of research.

If what you are saying is factual, what a bogus, piece of crap product to foist on the photographic world.

A big thanks go to Ralloh for point this out. Of course, the first thing I did was go to google and insert the copied phrase 'canon CSI 100 station' (without the quotes). I got bupkis and gave up any further investigation.

Even with Ralloh's post, I've lost interest in any further pursuit of the what the hell that thing is. The subsequent posts to the OP filled that knowledge void sufficiently.

Granted, it appears to be a bad product, but, look it up. It is not being advertised to be anything other than what it is. The guy who came here whining about it obviously didn't bother doing any research at all.

LOL! rmalarz, I think you clicked your reply button a split second before I clicked mine.

Ralloh, if nothing else we do have a good time on this site. I'm still laughing with this exchange.
