DxOhNo says the 75mm is the best. I only believe that because it's the best in the Olympus lineup, not compared to Nikon or Holga or whatever end of the spectrum they used that day.

And since you have an EM1, you're better off with a "pro" lens like the 12-40 or 40-150 than any of the 14-150 lenses.

Do you have a favorite lens for your micro 4/3 if so which one and what makes you favor it besides size and weight.

Panasonic HD Lumix 14-140 with Mega OIS... which allows me to use it on non IBIS bodies from Panasonic. Like the Lumix (leica) glass connection.

My last two Tamrons (3-5 years) electronics failed. Costly. Great glass but only if the aperture works and the lens focuses.

Other than that.... the 14-40 IIR and the 40-150 Olympus, both kit lenses and inexpensive. Oly kit is better than most mfrs second level glass. Been shooting OLY sincew 1972 and Digital Oly since the E-1 came out in 2003. Shot others but always had an Oly nearby'

To see a large selection for 4/3 and micro 4/3, see here:

When You get done sorting through this list, let us know.

The M.Zuiko 14-150 is a great lens for my EMD-10. I also have a M. Zuiko 9-18 that covers the rest. I rarely use my 14-42, but it is also a good lens.

I have the Tamron 14-150 on my OMD. I love it! It's my only lens. That's not to say that you couldn't use others as well but I think you'll find that the 14-150 will serve you really well.

If I had Oly, I'd be looking at the 7-14 f/2.8, and the forthcoming 300 f/4.

You can't even find an Oly in Albuquerque to look at, though, but I'd really like to check them out

good point...if money is burning a hole in your pocket, the 7-14 is awesome (either version, Panasonic or olympus)

I bought the Olympus MSC ED M. 60mm f/2.8 for macro use only -- and now I love it so much I never take it off! I may have to walk around more in order to get the right composition; but, hey, I need the exercise.

It's just so darned sharp, even at 2.8, and it gets better stopped down. I only wish it came with a lens hood. (But Olympus is more than happy to sell you one of those.)

Why don't they include a hood, like almost all other maker?
(Mo money?)

Recently, during a trip to the West I carried my Olympus EP-5 and a rented Zuiko 12-40 f2.8 Pro lens. It was practically all I needed.
My regular used lens with my camera is the Panasonic 14-45 which is a pretty good lens but it cannot compete with the 12-40 which is faster and sharper.

took a peak at your flicker page to see what kind of shooting you do...very nice.

I use the 17mm f1.8 for probably 75% of my shooting. It just works well with the way I see things. It is super sharp, small, and has what I think is the perfect field of view for what I do.

The Oly 45mm f1.8 is my favourite lens. Period. It does everything well- if the image isn't good, it's the photographer's fault. Amazing shooting into the sun. And less than £200.
