What would be the best way to remove the sun patches from her face?
My best guess would be trying to clone them out.
I tried cloning in LR with mixed results. Have to try it in PSCC. It's tough to match the skin tones.

The cloning feature in LR is not that good. Try it with another program. I like GIMP (not too popular around here), or try Photoshop (its cloning tool is much better).

I always go to the patch tool before resorting to the clone tool, unless I am, well, cloning something. I find at times it is a combination that also seems to use 'content aware' delete.

I used PS CC 2015 .I use cloning as a last resort too . On this sample , I used the lasso tool to circle the bad areas , then hit delete - enter . Then I used the same tool again on the left over spots . Then use the patch tool in areas I need to blend . Then I used the color picker tool to get skin color . I then used the paint tool with color selected at 50% , and painted over the slight red areas on the face next to the hair to remove the red cast from hair to face . .I then used the patch tool very slightly to clean up a few spots I didn't like . And this is what I ended up with . You can get the same results using PS with a little practice . Hope you don't mind me showing you my sample without you asking for one . It's the best way to show what can be done , Tommy

In your original post (

Beautiful woman and I like everything about it except the pole going through her head. There must be a way to eliminate that.
Your response was:

yes... I fixed that...thx....
When you said that, I thought you had used the original photo and PP'd to remove the distracting poles. Instead you took another photo of the young lady with a different background.
After seeing cmc65's comment and before I saw your redo I did some work on it using the clone tool in PSE 12. I wasn't planning on posting this until I saw so many others displayed their work. But here is my attempt at PP. Hope you don't mind.

Given the sun on her hair why would you want to. This is the way she looked when you shot the photo why not leave it as is... at least, that's my opinion. I like the shot exactly as is.

Results of using the mixer brush tool in PS.
Toned down the highlights on the face and on the hair.
Photo one:
I touched up the cloning tool and the spot healing tool on Elements 13
Photo Two
I then took that photo and processed it with PortaitPro15
Then some skin adjustment and minor makeup tweaking .
I see a lot of PP talent here! These are all very nice.
