For all of the daytime shots I used a Nikon d60 with 18-135mm AF-s lense. I always use an ISO of 200, a throwback to my film days when Kodak made the best film, usually 1/250s and F5.8. For the nightime balloon glow I think I used an ISO of 800. WHite balance is always set to cloudy, I like to soften the harsh sunlight, I always use a UV and CPL.
Good luck and I hope this helps~
Thank you for the information. I will see how I do. I just came across this forum so it has been very helpful.
I have been in ABQ several times for the balloon fest but at those times I was there on business and did not get anytime to attend but I did get to see the morning launches and it is spectacular with the mountains in the background and golden sunrise. Takes your breath away sometimes!!
I will add a few more for you!
I tried to load more photos for you but they don't want to go. I guess their servers are very busy. I will check back later today and try again. Sorry!
