I have a DX camera D300 and just purchased a 70-200. My next purchase in a year will be a FX, but for now my D300 will have to do. What will my focus length be with the FX/DX?
Thanks

70mm-200mm.
The actual focal length does
not change.
The angle of view will change because the sensor on a DX camera is smaller than that of a full-frame camera.
To get the full-frame
equivalent focal length of any lens on a DX camera multiply by 1.5x.
So with that lens, you'd get the same angle of view on a DX camera as you would with a 105 to 300 on a Full Frame camera.
For FX, it is what it is. For DX, if I understand correctly, the effective FL of an FX lens is actual X 1.5.
