^^^EXACTLY!!

Gary Friedman is THE best writer of 3rd party owners manuals in the business.

He is literally a Rocket Scientist and award winning photographer who does an EXCELLENT job of producing owners manuals that help you learn your camera.

He covers each and every feature in GREAT detail using plain, easy to understand English (or Spanish). He not only tells you WHAT each function does, but when and WHY you should use them... something very few other authors do and certainly not as well as Friedman.

Buy the Ebook and you can download it to multiple platforms. PLUS you get a 2 week satisfaction or your money back guarantee but you won't use that feature because you will love the book and it WILL help you learn how to use your camera to it's fullest potential.

Amazon lists no less than FOUR guides to using the Sony A6000, including books by Gary Friedman and David Busche. You can also download a copy of the manual from Sony's website. Not that hard.

I read through a copy of Friedman's book and am currently reading the one by David Busche. I like the way Busche has organized the material and I find it a much easier book to read. Friedman's book I still use as a reference book however; I have the Kindle edition so it stays handy.

Sony's manual may be worth downloading but it is pretty skimpy about telling you anything unless it is already pretty obvious.

Sony support website lists several manuals. But I can't find the link to their BEST one so I have attached it below. I also recommend the Gary Friedman book. But this help guide from Sony is very thorough and it's free. Works best if you save file to your computer and open in Adobe Acrobat reader. View "Bookmarks" to get a very good navigation tool to the whole document.

Bernie, I recently purchased Gary Freidman's book, and opted for the black and white print version, ( to save money) --- cost about U$45, and is very comprehensive -- generally written in an easy to understand style. It is just under 600 pages-- in all, very good value & very useful.Cheers,D.

The download is cheaper.... and you can put it on your computer, tablet and even smartphone. That's what I do so I'll always have a copy nearby. ;)
