For the first time I used this lens. I took all attached photos at 600mm focal length. I wanted to try this lens at Conowingo Dam for bald eagles but could not go there. I took these photos at Black Hill Park. I wish I could take some photos of the flying birds. May be next time. I may add here that I applied sharpening on all photos in LR.

larryzplace, could you please explain that I am off. I could not understand what actually you meant and please don't
laugh if I asked you a stupid question.

no problem and it is a good thing by the way... It is an old expression stemming from the way they start races and things like that.... Off to a good start... They are Off and running... You might hear at a horse race the previous statement...
I have the same lens and love it... Chasing birds in flight you might need some practice to get it right but it is well worth the effort...
Have fun with your new toy :)

You were very successful. Nice set.
Quick question. Depending on which camera body you used, can you use a teleconverter with your setup?

Hi larryzplace, thanks a lot for explaining. Now I fully understand the meaning what you told me.
I have been taking birds photos in flight with my Canon
70-200mm 2.8 lens and to get the 400mm focal length by putting the 2x extender on it. With this set up I took lot of pictures of the flying birds. I am posting some photos for an example. I want to check if I need Tamron lens by taking several pictures of the birds in flight. Again thanks a lot.
Very good shots, Mubashm! I love the turtles!

islandboystan, I think you can you use an extender on this lens but I have not use it. However, I have been using 2x
extender on my Canon 70-200mm 2.8 lens. You can see some examples I just posted for Larry.
