young Bucky came into the yard looking for fallen leaves and what ever else was laying about to fill his tummy!
i stepped out on the deck, camera in hand and started to shoot some pix of him, he wanted "NO" part of that and away he went!

Thank you, Yes i always shoot in that mode because i know the rapid sequence a deer goes thru.

Very nice close ups Marilyn. I saw a young buck in Lakewood park which is about 2 and a half miles from any forest. Never saw a deer of any kind there before. I'll post my shots of him soon.

This is mating season and they will travel great distances looking for receptive females. A very good possibility thats the reason for your seeing him.
