To me it looks like there is a slight metering difference between the two. Easily corrected in post.
I placed the camera on a tripod to ensure that the angle and distance would be exactly the same. This is bounce flash.
I like the color saturation a little better with the Neewer flash.

My Sb700 gets better shot at a distance too.

These are shot on a tripod and straight into the subject. Not something you would normally do if trying to get a good shot.
The color saturation seems to be a little better with the Nikon, but I still think they are both very acceptable. Either could be made significantly better with a little tweaking.

is the Yougnuo flash good for Nikon D800 ? Please let me know .Ilike Nikon flash SB900 but too much money .
I use the SB800. The 900 is over priced for my pocketbook and the 800 serves very well. I've had it since my D70 and never miss a shot. The Yongnuos are also good. I have four of them that I use for studio work for the last couple years.
I've never used the Nissin, but I'm prejudiced. I will take Japanese technology over Chinese any day.
Nikon IS coming out with a new flagship speed light. the SB 5000.
Nikon can keep their New Flash. Who needs it? I don't need the latest and greatest.
Just bought a bare bulb flash that will cost less than the new Nikon speed light and put out 5 times the light. win win.

Sounds like your on to a winner
How are you going to focus the bare bulb where you exactly want the light?

With modifiers. Just like you would with a speedlight.
we use the SB900 flashes at work. I never saw any problem with them. But for me I just wasn't that impressed with them. And I have Norman strobes to light Philadelphia at F8. SO I went with the Phottix mitros kit, with the commander it was less money the SB910 and I have not had one moment of problem with them and my Nikon D800E.

I love using bare bulb when the situation permits. I shot a 300 member church choir with one bare bulb flash. Now it was a 4000 watts flashtube that took 2 power supplies to drive it. But it did the job.
