Interesting story in today's New York Times (link below) about a guy hit in the face by a foul ball in Yankee stadium. Umbrellas prevented him from seeing anything before the ball hit him. An average of 1750 fans are hit by fouls or broken bats each year compared to about 1500 batters hit by pitches.
