Thank you, CarlySue. It's always a pleasure to hear your great comments. I use a painter's eye for all my photos as you mentioned. This helps me with all the photo elements and especially my compositions. Without a good composition a photo will not look professional. I appreciate your compliment. Take care.

I will promise you some good Bald Eagle photos this December, CarlySue, if we have good weather. We just had the worst wind storm (11/17/15) in over 126 years here in the Coeur d' Alene-Spokane area. Hundreds of large trees were blown down on cars, homes, etc. 150,000 people lost power and many will not have electricity for 5 days. We were lucky and lost power for just 3 hours and had some minor roof damage compared to some homes that were demolished by these 60-70 mph winds. At least 4 people were killed.

HOLY COW,Reg, I had no idea! I'll have to check in with my brother (Spokane) and make sure he's ok!(He wouldn't call me, he thinks I'd worry! Brothers!). That had to be quite a scary storm! Amazing what side winds can do!

CarlySue, Spokane got the worst of it. They usually get the higher winds because they are in a river valley with little or no protections from the mountains nearby. Thousands of people are still without electricity in the Spokane area and it was down to 20 degrees this morning. Especially scary at night when you hear trees and other things crashing and falling down and you can't see because it's night with no electricity.

Great set Regis. Peaceful. Makes me want to be there, fly rod in hand!

I took about 200 Fall photos this year and I haven't posted all the good ones yet, so here are a few more. These 3 photos haven't been posted before but they are similar to some others I have posted but they are different shots at different angles and time and crops. All hand held. Please use the downloads.

Thank you, John. This Coeur d' Alene River is a fly fisherman's paradise. I have seen trout and an occasional salmon being caught. The river has small rapids, narrow and wide areas and a lot of twists and turns plus 1 to 4 feet deep in most areas in the upper river and much deeper in the lower river segments.
