Eyeball Tattooing - Yes, You Read that Right.

If their looks make them unemployable they have given themselves a self inflicted injury. They made a lifestyle choice. No benefits or sympathy for them. May as well commiserate with a guy who hits himself on the head with a mallet then complains of a headache.
I volunteer to be the last guy in the world to not have eyeball tats.

And I always wonder, is it impolite to stare? :D
I see your point here, but then is goes thru my mind that maybe that is why some of them do that,
and they might feel rejected if they don't get those stares.
Therefore, too, it gives me a slight, inward good-feeling that they feel disappointed that I didn't stare - you know, that I didn't 'notice' their artwork . . .

What is wrong with people?!?!
Many girls miss out on the chance for a fashion model career by getting tattooed or otherwise "body modified." This is one of the reasons why agencies recruit in Eastern Europe, where girls have enough sense to postpone body mods until after they take a shot at a modeling career.
Sometimes these idiots that mutilate themselves can be quite responsive when they notice you "looking". After looking at the tattoos and rings and chains and ear loops on a girl at a checkout counter she aked if I liked them, I replied,"not really in fact I'm finding it hard not to puke on you but I'll try to hold it till I get outside". The lady behind me started laughing so hard she had every one in the area joining in.The young girl gave me the finger and a few choice words and left in hough. The cashregister lady just smiled and then when I left she said,"Mr,You just made my day" So apparently they don't like stareing
I still can't understand why people want to disfigure themselves like that.
I'm no psychologist, but my observation is that the people who do this sort of thing sometimes want the attention, but most hate themselves for one reason or another and are often very depressed and self-destructive.

You are probably on the right track.

They could do their eyes in yellow and tell everyone they have hepatitis!
OMG! People are just getting dumber and dumber! Is it the drugs they do or what? Your eyes are a gift and to subject them to the very real possibility of infection that could cause blindness is insane! If these folks came to me looking for a job, I'd seriously be wondering whether they could make correct judgements when needed, if this is what they would do to their bodies. Frankly, when I have to deal with tattooed and pierced people who work behind a counter, I have to wonder about the correctness of the information that they are giving to me as in my mind their personal choices haven't been too swift. Pierced ears are one thing as that is a generally accepted practice world wide, however, 6 earrings in one ear and a bone in your nose is going a bit too far. Guys used to get tattoos on their arms or chest when they were in the service or when they got too drunk to know what they were doing, but tattoos all over??? Color me a fuddy-duddy, but some day they will regret what they've done as it WILL affect what they do with their lives.

Imagine having the whites of your eyes tattooed another color.
Mine are already red enough as it is.

Theirs is a possessive pronoun.
There's is a contraction for there is, or rarely, there has. Note the apostrophe replacing the missing letter or letters.
Their's does not exist.
